As the sun began to set, I walked from the Pont des Arts to Cafe de Flore, one of the most famous spots on the Boulevard Saint Germain. The February air had frozen my fingertips and I knew just the cure: an order of their famous hot chocolate. It's so thick you need to eat it with a spoon, and I get mine with an extra side of Chantilly cream. I sat in the window, watching the sunset and the Parisans pass me by outside, thinking how lucky I was to be living in Paris.
