I spent my last week in Manhattan falling in love with my city all over again. I ate all my favorite things, I took the best, bougie boxing class. I had a dinner party for friends and went dancing until 4am. I bottomless brunched and binged on eggs benny. I walked through Central Park on a sunny Sunday. I took a long run on the West Side Highway. I had a last, strong Manhattan in Manhattan.
And on a clear, beautiful, morning I went to the top of the most iconic place in New York. After a four year renovation, the Empire State Building is not only the most classic view of the city; but it’s now like a mini-museum and love letter to New York. I got to go before it opens to the public for sunrise, and for a moment I felt like I had New York City all to myself. After devouring every detail completely, 103 flights up, I looked out over the city and said goodbye.
